Job Description
This Optometrist Job at Reliance Retail involves dispensing and fitting accurate prescriptions, performing refraction and diagnosis, and providing customer consultation on lenses, frames, and contact lens care. - Experience Required – 0-10 Yrs
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispenses and Fits Accurate Prescriptions: Dispenses accurate prescriptions and fits spectacles, contact lenses, and other optical aids.
- Refraction, Diagnosis, and Customer Consultation: Perform refraction and diagnosis to meet customers’ needs. Provide advice to patients on lens types, frames, and styling; fit contact lenses and provide care; use low-vision aids; perform adjustments and repairs to spectacles.
- Inventory Management: Manage lens inventory and optical product range, and provide input on related orders.
- Reporting: Provide regular, necessary qualitative and quantitative reports to management on sales and stock, as well as feedback on customers for their preferences, etc., to facilitate decision making.
- Quality Control and Consultant: Ensures the quality of eye measurements. Regularly audits fitments and dispensing techniques of Opticians and maintains reports. This role is the point of escalation for Opticians for cases that require higher consultation.

- Advise customers on what suits and benefits them based on their needs
- To ensure that delivery is on time and after sales service is prompt
- Ensure that back-end processes happen as per schedule
- Escalate any unresolved issues/disputes to SM as needed.
