ACTREC Careers: Qualifications
To be eligible, candidates must have:
- MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology, recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC)
- Valid registration with the Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) (mandatory at the time of appointment)
- Age and experience calculated as of 30 December 2025
- NOC from current employer if working in government/semi-government/autonomous bodies.
About the Role
The senior resident will work in high-intensity clinical settings supporting anesthesia services for cancer surgeries, perioperative care, critical care management, and advanced pain services. The role includes rotations across ACTREC, TMH Mumbai, and other TMC centres, ensuring comprehensive exposure to oncological anesthesia and critical care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
- Assist in administering anaesthesia for major and minor oncology procedures
- Manage emergency services and perioperative patient care
- Provide critical care support in ICU settings
- Participate in cancer pain management services
Academic & Administrative Responsibilities
- Support departmental academic programs, clinical discussions, and rounds
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Contribute to departmental audits, teaching sessions, and case presentations
Compliance & Institutional Requirements
- Ensure timely submission of documents and fulfil mandatory training requirements
- Adhere to institutional protocols, safety standards, and rotation policies
