About the Role
The Medical Advisor in Cardiology is responsible for providing medical oversight, scientific expertise, and strategic guidance for assigned therapeutic areas. The role involves supporting marketing and sales teams, pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, and clinical research operations. The position requires engagement with internal stakeholders and external thought leaders while ensuring compliance with global and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve promotional materials for medical and regulatory compliance
- Provide scientific support to business units, marketing, and sales teams
- Transform medical data into actionable insights for commercial strategy
- Deliver training to internal teams and external healthcare professionals
- Lead and oversee non-interventional studies (NIS) and local investigator-initiated research (IIR)
- Act as medical contact for thought leaders, advisory boards, and congresses
- Support regulatory, pharmacovigilance, and medical information teams on scientific queries
- Ensure compliance with local and global regulations, PV standards, and audit readiness
- Represent Bayer in external meetings and scientific forums
