TMC Careers—Role Overview
Selected consultants will support clinical services, patient care, academic activities, and multidisciplinary oncology programs at HBCHRC. Roles include managing OPD/IPD services, clinical decision-making, evidence-based treatment planning, tumour board participation, and high-quality patient management.
Available Consultant Positions
1. Consultant – Medical Oncology (Solid Tumour)
Qualifications:
- DM / DNB (Medical Oncology) or equivalent recognised by NMC
Experience:
- 1 year of experience in solid tumour medical oncology in a teaching hospital (Desirable)
2. Consultant – Medical Oncology (Adult Haematolymphoid)
Qualifications:
- DM / DNB (Medical Oncology / Clinical Haematology) or equivalent (NMC-recognised)
3. Consultant – Gynaecology/Gynecologic Oncology
Qualifications:
- M.Ch./DNB (Gynaec Oncology), Experience: Min. 1 year during or after M.Ch. training, or MD / DNB (Obstetrics & Gynaecology), Experience: Min. 3 years post-PG experience in gynecologic oncology
4. Consultant – Anaesthesiology, Critical Care & Pain (FTA)
Qualifications:
- DM (Critical Care) OR
- MD / DNB (Anaesthesia / General Medicine / Pulmonary Medicine / Pediatrics)
Experience:
- DM: No experience required
- MD/DNB: Minimum 3 years post-PG experience in Critical Care

Important Conditions
- Posts are tenure-based for 1 year or until permanent recruitment.
- Candidates will not be entertained before/after the scheduled time.
- TMC reserves the right to conduct an MCQ test if applications exceed expected numbers.
- Shortlisting, eligibility criteria, and final selection will be at the discretion of the Director, HBCHRC.
- Misrepresentation of information will result in the cancellation of candidature.
- Selected candidates may be rotated to any TMC unit (Mumbai, Sangrur, Varanasi, Vizag, Guwahati, Navi Mumbai, etc.) depending on institutional needs.
- Legal disputes will fall under the SAS Nagar jurisdiction.
