Job Description

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the temporary post in an ICMR funded project titled: “Extended follow-up of the PreVenTB trial for effectiveness of VPM1002 vaccine compared to placebo in the prevention of TB disease at 5 to 6 years post-vaccination among household contacts of persons with pulmonary tuberculosis (PwPTB) in India.”

The candidate will support the extended follow-up of the PreVenTB trial, working closely with patients who are household contacts of individuals with pulmonary tuberculosis. Responsibilities include assisting in clinical assessments, maintaining accurate research records, ensuring protocol compliance, and contributing to data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Essential: MBBS/BDS or equivalent
  • Desirable: Candidates with MBBS/MPH will be given preference

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on ICMR-funded tuberculosis research project
  • Assist in extended follow-up of vaccine trial participants
