Educational Qualification
MBBS with a full-time post-graduate qualification of at least 2 years duration in any discipline of medicine/ M.B.B.S from a reputed institute

Medical Advisor Job Description
This medical advisor job positions you as the primary scientific face of the organization for a defined therapy area and geography. You will be responsible for engaging thought leaders, executing medical affairs strategies, and contributing to evidence-based healthcare outcomes, making it one of the most impactful medical affairs jobs for early-career doctors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead scientific engagement with key thought leaders
- Execute strategic medical affairs plans, including medical education, product education, evidence generation, advisory boards, and special projects
- Act as a trusted scientific expert for physicians and stakeholders within assigned therapy areas
- Support optimal patient outcomes through scientific communication and data-driven insights
- Represent Dr. Reddy’s on internal and external scientific platforms
- Gather insights on disease trends and treatment patterns and share them with therapy and commercial teams
- Conduct disease trend analysis to support the annual Medical Affairs Strategy Plans
- Respond to scientific information requests from healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with Dr. Reddy’s COBE policy across all activities
- Collaborate with thought leaders on reviews, meta-analysis, case studies, and journal publications
- Develop medical training plans for sales and marketing teams
- Identify knowledge gaps and develop strategic medical action plans
- Support product pipeline development by identifying unmet medical needs
Skills & Attributes – Technical Skills
- Strong academic record with deep knowledge of the therapeutic area, strength in research with knowledge of research methodologies, and interpretation of medical data.
- Experience with scientific acumen and communication skills is required to be accepted by leading specialists in a peer-to-peer relationship.
- Experience with complex business environments preferred.
- Strong track record of success as demonstrated through annual performance ratings and/or professional accomplishments and awards.
