Qualifications
- Educational qualification – MBBS with M.D. Pharmacology/Medicine or a full-time post-graduate qualification in any discipline of medicine

Medical Advisor Job Description
The Medical Advisor role provides the scientific foundation for the Therapeutic Area (TA) medical strategy. The position is responsible for managing a range of medical affairs activities, engaging key thought leaders, overseeing execution of the medical affairs plan, facilitating scientific communication with sales and marketing teams, and contributing to the Medical Affairs strategic plan for identified therapeutic areas and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a core scientific member of the cross-functional franchise team, supporting the Therapeutic Area (TA) medical strategy
- Conceptualize and manage medical affairs activities aligned with TA strategy, including research, publications, medical education, and patient support programs
- Engage key thought leaders through planned medical affairs initiatives in alignment with the overall strategic plan
- Ensure effective execution of the medical affairs strategy through Regional Medical Affairs teams, covering medical education, product education, and special projects
- Act as a therapeutic area scientific expert by discussing scientific data with leading specialists
- Provide training on the latest medical developments to sales and marketing teams
