Job Description
MaineHealth Franklin Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology physician, to join our dedicated team in beautiful Farmington, Maine as the Associate Medical Director (AMD). This is an exciting medical director job opportunity to lead a community practice committed to delivering exceptional care while maintaining strong work-life balance.
Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of OB/GYN Residency program
- ABOG Board Certified/Board Eligible in OB/GYN
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with 4 physicians and 1 Certified Nurse Midwife to manage site of service
- Perform clinical duties in a full-scope OB/GYN practice
- Participate in shared call responsibilities (1:4 weekend call)
- Contribute to teaching residents and medical students through academic affiliations
- Support community-focused patient care in a rural healthcare setting
- Engage in leadership and administrative responsibilities as part of this medical director job
