Medical Job: Qualifications

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Current or eligibility for North Carolina MD or DO licensure
  • Valid DEA registration
  • Board Certification in specialty preferred
  • Prior experience in a medical office or Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) preferred
  • Strong understanding of population health management
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and clinical staff
  • Highly organized, efficient, and accurate in clinical documentation

About the Role

In this role, the primary care physician will provide comprehensive clinical services while supporting integrated primary healthcare delivery at Kintegra Health. The role includes direct patient care, clinical leadership, supervision of midlevel providers, and collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer to ensure quality, compliance, and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient-centered medical care to individuals and families
  • Perform medical evaluations, treatments, and consultations
  • Respond to medical emergencies and clinical inquiries
  • Document complete patient records, including history, examinations, and care plans
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests, and referrals
  • Review test results and coordinate patient follow-up
  • Supervise care delivered by home health, nursing homes, or hospice services
  • Supervise and guide mid-level providers and medical support staff
  • Ensure timely completion of clinical documentation and paperwork
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Medical Director
