Medical Job Qualification
- MD/MS/DNB in General Medicine or OBGY
- The degree must be NMC-recognised
- Completion of compulsory rotatory internship
Registration with:
- Karnataka Medical Council or
- Medical Council of India (MCI)
- Freshers and candidates with up to 3 years of post-PG experience are eligible
Job Description
The senior resident will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, supporting clinical units, actively contributing to medical education, and participating in institutional academic activities. The role requires strong clinical decision-making, teaching interest, and commitment to continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-time clinical care across OPD, IPD, Emergency, and the Operation Theatre
- Work closely with the Unit Head to manage patient care
- Conduct bedside teaching, clinics, internal assessments, and academic sessions
- Guide UG and PG students in dissertations, presentations, and exam preparation
- Be available for 24-hour duty on assigned days
- Participate in research, conference presentations, and academic programs
- Support curriculum-based and extracurricular student activities
- Assist in clinical administration and departmental coordination
