Job Description:
The medical job opportunity is available under an industry-funded project titled: “To develop antivirals against Dengue Viruses.” The project will be conducted under the guidance of Guruprasad R. Medigeshi, Principal Investigator at IISER Tirupati. The selected candidate will work on research activities related to dengue virus studies and antiviral development. Qualifications:
Essential: Degree in Medicine
Desirable: Experience in the following areas is preferred:
- Mammalian cell culture
- Virus assays

Key Responsibilities:
Selected candidates for this medical job will be expected to:
- Conduct research related to the development of antivirals against dengue viruses
- Perform mammalian cell culture experiments
- Carry out virus assays and virology-based experiments
- Work on protein expression and purification techniques
- Perform molecular biology experiments and laboratory analysis
- Assist the Principal Investigator in research activities related to the project
- Maintain laboratory records and research documentation
Salary:
For candidates selected through national eligibility tests: INR 37,000 per month + 9% HRA. Applicable if selected through:
- CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship), OR
- GATE, OR
- National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies.
For other candidates: INR 30,000 per month + 9% HRA
Project Tenure:
- Initial appointment: Three months
- Renewable based on satisfactory performance
- The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project
