Job Description:
This Medical Job is for the position of Intensivist at Koshys Hospital, Bengaluru. The selected candidate will lead the hospital’s critical care services during night shifts, ensuring round-the-clock ICU management and adherence to NABH standards. The role demands expertise in emergency decision-making, invasive procedures, team supervision, and multidisciplinary coordination while maintaining high-quality patient outcomes and supporting clinical excellence within the intensive care unit.
Key Responsibilities for this Medical Job:
- Lead and manage ICU operations on a 24/7 basis.
- Oversee patient care plans and critical clinical decisions.
- Perform critical care procedures, including:
- Central Venous Pressure (CVP) line insertion.
- Arterial line placement.
- Endotracheal intubation.
- Supervise ICU medical officers and nursing teams.
- Manage ICU emergencies and coordinate multidisciplinary care.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards and ICU protocols.
- Support training and development initiatives for ICU staff.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care.
Educational Requirements for this Medical Job:
Essential Qualification:
- MBBS from a recognized institution.
- Valid Karnataka Medical Council (KMC) Registration.
- ICU/Critical Care Certification (Mandatory).
Experience Requirement:
