The National Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases, New Delhi, is an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The institute has an Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) Centre to provide care, support and treatment to HIV/AIDS patients under the National ART Programme of NACO, Govt. of India. It plays a crucial role in strengthening public health services in tuberculosis and respiratory disease management.
Job Description:
National Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases, New Delhi has an Antiretroviral therapy (ART) Centre to provide care, support and treatment to HIV/AIDS patients, under the National ART programme of NACO, Govt. of India. A Walk-in interview will be conducted for the contractual post of Medical Officer for ART Centre. The contract will initially be given for one year. Further renewal of contract is subject to work performance. The remuneration is a consolidated sum, as paid by DSACS based on NACO guidelines. The selected candidates will have no claim for regular appointment.
Qualifications:
ART Medical Officer (MO) should essentially be:
- MBBS
- With working knowledge of computer
- MS Office
- Usage of internet and electronic mail
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care, support and treatment to HIV/AIDS patients under the National ART programme.
- Work at the ART Centre of the institute.
- Perform duties as assigned under NACO guidelines and institute policies.
