Medical Science Liaison Job: Qualifications
- Advanced degree in health sciences (MD, PhD) with 2–3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience in dermatology
OR - MSc in healthcare or professional designation (BScN, PT, RD, etc.) with 5+ years of dermatology-related experience
OR - Prior Medical Science Liaison experience with strong pharmaceutical industry knowledge
About the Role
In this job, the MSL will serve as a scientific expert and key liaison between Lilly and the Canadian dermatology and autoimmune medical community. The role emphasizes peer-to-peer scientific engagement, knowledge exchange, and strategic insight generation to support research and medical objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with scientific experts and key opinion leaders
- Provide in-depth scientific information on dermatology and autoimmune disorders
- Communicate updates from clinical trials, scientific literature, and major medical conferences
- Gather clinical insights to inform Lilly’s research and strategic direction
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and promotional guidelines
- Collaborate cross-functionally with medical, research, and commercial teams
