Job Description:

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role at Bristol Myers Squibb is designed for individuals who are passionate about advancing healthcare through scientific dialogue. The MSL will engage with Thought Leaders and Healthcare Providers to ensure that patients have access to BMS medicines. This role requires significant time in the field, fostering relationships and delivering high-impact data and insights to support medical practice and the adoption of BMS products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain interactions with Thought Leaders and Healthcare Providers to address scientific inquiries and promote BMS products.
  • Execute a medical interaction plan tailored to the needs of key accounts.
  • Present accurate medical information to HCPs while adhering to ethical guidelines.
  • Continuously assess the medical landscape to inform strategies and address customer needs.
  • Provide valuable medical insights to support strategy development within the organisation.
  • Report safety information in accordance with BMS Standard Operating Procedures.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • MBBS or MD degree.
  • 1-2 years of field medical experience in medical affairs is preferred.
  • Experience in Oncology and Haematology is advantageous.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret scientific data.
  • Proficiency in developing relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial design and processes.
  • Understanding of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) concepts is a plus.
