Job Description:
The Medical Writer Job at Sandoz is part of the Global Medical Affairs and Medical Excellence Operations team. The selected candidate will support global Medical Information services by preparing scientific content, managing medical inquiries, performing literature reviews, and ensuring the delivery of accurate, compliant, and evidence-based medical information.
This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional global teams while contributing to process improvements and operational excellence across medical information services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of Medical Information services, including content creation, documentation, and inquiry-related workflows within defined processes.
- Perform literature searches and assist in drafting and maintaining Medical Information resources and related outputs.
- Upload, document, and manage content and records in the Medical Information System as applicable.
- Monitor mailboxes, provide reporting support, and engage in other defined operational activities.
- Contribute to the accurate and timely execution of Medical Information workflows and related documentation.
- Support process standardisation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the service model.
- Assist in the transition and stabilisation of services into GCC and contribute to operational maturity.
Essential Requirements for this Medical Writer Job:
- Advanced degree in Medicine, Healthcare, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Experience in Medical Information, Scientific Writing, or Medical Communications.
- Good understanding of customer inquiry management and medical information processes.
- Experience working within global cross-functional teams.
- Strong scientific writing and documentation experience.
