Job Description:
This full-time, on-site Paediatrician Job is based at Apollo Hospitals in Raurkela. The Paediatrician will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, including preventive care, routine check-ups, diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions, and immunizations. Responsibilities include conducting detailed patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and ensuring safe, age-appropriate care. The role involves close coordination with neonatology teams for newborn care, collaboration with other physicians and multidisciplinary staff, and clear communication with parents and caregivers about treatment options and health education. The Paediatrician is expected to maintain accurate medical records, adhere to clinical protocols and regulatory standards, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to a safe, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:

- Candidates should possess specialized expertise in Paediatrics, including growth and development, acute paediatric illnesses, and chronic disease management.
- Candidates should possess skills in Neonatology for the assessment and care of newborns, including high-risk and preterm infants.
- Candidates should possess experience working with Physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
- MD/DNB in Pediatrics (or equivalent recognized qualification) with valid medical registration.
- Prior experience in a hospital or multispecialty clinical setting is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills, with a patient- and family-centered approach.
