Job Description:
The Medical Manager will be part of the medical function within P&G’s Research & Development organisation, supporting the P&G Health India business from Mumbai. In this role, the individual will help design and deliver medical affairs activities for the assigned therapeutic area, ensuring scientific excellence, compliance, and strong cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities include scientific communication, claims and content review, evidence support, and collaboration with various teams including Product Research, Regulatory, Product Development, Clinical, Sales, and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the medical affairs plan for specific health areas, aligning with business goals and medical strategies.
- Stay informed about current medical practices, treatment trends, and scientific developments.
- Communicate medical and scientific information clearly to both internal and external parties.
- Ensure scientific claims and promotional materials are accurate and compliant with regulations.
- Provide medical insights for product development and marketing strategies.
- Work closely with other teams like Research, Regulatory, and Marketing to meet business needs.
- Engage with healthcare professionals and support medical education initiatives.
- Identify new medical insights and share them to aid in planning and decision-making.
- Support responses to scientific and medical inquiries.
- Contribute to scientific publications and presentations.
- Train internal teams on technical and scientific topics as needed.
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies and industry standards.
Eligibility Criteria for this Medical Affairs Job:
- Medical degree or equivalent medical/scientific qualification required.
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in medical affairs, medical communications, medical support, scientific roles, or related positions within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry preferred.
