Physician Job Qualifications

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO)
  • Active state medical license(s)
  • Federal DEA license aligned with state practice
  • State Narcotic/Controlled Substance registration, where applicable
  • Current board certification (ABMS, AMA, or AOA)
  • CPR certification (BLS or ACLS with hands-on evaluation, AHA-compliant)
  • Minimum 3 years of post-residency clinical experience
  • Experience in primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, or occupational health

As a full-time physician at Premise Health, you will provide comprehensive care to client employees and their dependents, focusing on preventive, episodic, and acute medical services in a supportive, well-resourced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide preventive, acute, and episodic healthcare services
  • Conduct medical histories, physical examinations, and treatment planning
  • Prescribe medications and manage ongoing care using best-practice standards
  • Deliver occupational health services, including return-to-work exams and medical monitoring
  • Identify and manage emergencies within the scope of practice
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records
  • Participate in health center planning and wellness initiatives
