Plastic Surgery Job Qualifications

  • M.Ch in Plastic Surgery or DNB/Dip NB in Plastic Surgery (post-doctoral) from a recognized university
  • FRCS (Plastic Surgery) or equivalent qualification from an international university will be considered
  • Minimum 2–3 years of post-doctoral experience with strong exposure to microsurgery

About the Role

The Consultant – Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery will play a key role in providing advanced reconstructive surgical care to oncology patients. The position involves managing complex microsurgical reconstructions in collaboration with multidisciplinary oncology teams, while adhering to established clinical protocols and contributing to high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform complex reconstructive and microsurgical procedures as indicated for oncology patients
  • Manage pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care, including rehabilitation planning
  • Participate in clinical decision-making, diagnostics, and surgical planning
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary oncology teams and trained paramedical staff
  • Ensure adherence to established clinical protocols and quality standards
  • Contribute to patient-centric care with a focus on functional and aesthetic outcomes
