Healthcare Job – Key Responsibilities:
1. Implement and Manage Quality Systems
- Contribute to developing procedures, tools, and resource documents.
- Review and approve quality system documents.
- Clarify accountability for regional and affiliate quality requirements.
- Recommend new or updated quality system documentation.
- Guide training programs for proper implementation and documentation.
- Interpret external requirements and standards for relevant teams.
- Manage deviations, change controls, and Notifications to Management (NTM).
- Support root cause analysis and CAPA processes.
- Provide inputs for risk assessments, audit plans, and quality plans.
- Conduct self-inspections and initiate meaningful improvements.
- Oversee local quality system implementation.
- Support external party management as needed.
2. Quality Oversight for Global Patient Safety
- Monitor compliance with quality system documentation.
- Anticipate gaps and propose proactive solutions.
- Execute regional and affiliate quality plans.
- Provide updates to quality and business owners.
- Identify opportunities for simplification and process improvement.
- Coordinate quality enhancement initiatives.
- Compile, review, and maintain compliance metrics.
- Identify trends, weaknesses, or gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Track deviations, CAPA, change controls, and audit responses.
3. Audits and Inspections
- Support preparation, coordination, and response activities for audits/inspections.
- Ensure inspection readiness through organized documentation.
- Verify timely completion of audit corrective actions.
- Lead or support audit readiness activities.
4. Partnership with Global Patient Safety
- Serve as the primary quality consultation point for the GPS business area.
- Strengthen internal quality controls.
- Share key learnings to replicate best practices.
- Collaborate with other quality functions to build strong networks.
- Support issue resolution and escalation.
- Apply a risk-based approach to guide business decisions.
- Participate in key projects and understand QPPV responsibilities when needed.
- Act as the BQA representative for relevant IT systems.
