BRIC-NABI is hiring for a Research Associate job under the NABI CORE project titled “Improvement of Nutritional Quality of Wheat.” The selected candidate will work closely with the Principal Investigator to study wheat nutritional diversity, biosynthetic pathways, breeding strategies, and human health outcomes. This research associate job is well-suited for candidates from biotechnology, life sciences, and clinical backgrounds, such as MD or MDS job holders with research experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in close association with the Principal Investigator on wheat nutrition research
- Study nutritional component diversity, biosynthetic pathways, breeding strategies, and human health impact
- Perform high-throughput sequencing data analysis
- Conduct taxonomic profiling and pattern analysis
- Perform assembly, binning, functional annotation, and metabolic pathway reconstruction
- Apply machine learning and AI algorithms for diverse research applications
- Assist in the preparation of research publications, reports, and scientific presentations
- Support project and laboratory management activities
