Job Description

This public health job involves supporting research and capacity-building activities under the SUNWAI (Social participation for Universal health coverage: evidence-informed NetWorks Advancing Inclusion) consortium. The role focuses primarily on India, with coordination across Vietnam and Thailand, contributing to research management, protocol development, and field-based implementation.

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate training in public health or a related field
  • Experience working on social change and research–advocacy intersections
  • Experience with rights-based civil society organizations and social participation for health
  • Experience working in global or resource-constrained settings
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and writing skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development of identified resources and capacity-building activities
  • Develop and operationalize training packages for SUNWAI teams and subgroups
  • Coordinate research management, including protocol development and tool creation
  • Support desk-based and field-based data collection, ethics review, and permissions
  • Coordinate with work package leads and country teams
  • Support dissemination and advocacy-related activities at national and multilateral levels
  • Participate in team meetings, institutional activities, and special projects
  • Comply with Work Health and Safety policies and promote a safe working environment
