Job Posting: Resident Medical Officer (RMO)
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
The RMO will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients, ensuring smooth clinical operations, coordinating with medical staff, and maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
- Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to inpatients and emergency cases.
- Conduct patient rounds, monitor progress, and update treatment plans as required.
- Assist consultants and specialists in diagnosis and treatment.
- Ensure accurate documentation of medical records and patient history.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Operational Responsibilities:
- Supervise junior medical staff, nurses, and paramedical personnel.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, medical ethics, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain coordination between departments to facilitate smooth patient care.
- Participate in hospital audits, quality assurance programs, and patient safety initiatives.
- Support the hospital administration in policy implementation and service improvements.
- Emergency & Critical Care:
- Provide first-line management in case of medical emergencies.
- Collaborate with ICU and emergency teams for critical patient care.
- Ensure prompt referral and coordination with specialists when necessary.
- Patient Care & Communication:
- Address patient and family concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Educate patients on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Ensure informed consent procedures are followed for medical procedures.
- Training & Development:
- Participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME) and training sessions.
- Mentor and train junior doctors and medical staff.
- Stay updated with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
Education: MBBS, BAMS, BHMS degree from a recognized institution.
Experience: 0-3 years of clinical experience.
Skills: Excellent diagnostic, decision-making, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle emergency situations efficiently.
Rotational shifts (including night duties).
