Job description of Safety Surveillance Adviser:
As a Safety Surveillance Adviser, you will oversee the safety profile of Novo Nordisk (NN) products during development and post-approval. This includes performing ongoing surveillance based on global safety data and communicating safety concerns to health authorities. You will lead the NN cross-functional safety committee, present safety analyses, and recommend safety actions throughout the product lifecycle. Additionally, you will manage all aspects of patient safety in clinical trials.
Responsibilities:
- Establish safety profile: Establish the product safety profile during the development and maintenance of labeling for marketed products.
- Surveillance activities: Perform systematic surveillance of Novo Nordisk products and communicate safety issues internally and to health authorities.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Chair the safety committee and present safety surveillance results for product lifecycle management.
- Patient safety: Responsible for all patient safety aspects in clinical trials.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Masters in Medicine/MD post-MBBS graduate preferred.
- Experience in Signal Management, Aggregate Management, ICSR.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, fluent in English, and analytical mindset.
- Professional authority, quality mindset, and proactive planner.
