Eligibility Criteria for the SiB Fellowship:
- Master’s degree in engineering, design, science, business, or other fields relevant to MedTech innovation
- Bachelor’s degree in these disciplines and having relevant professional experience
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in medical sciences
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify unmet clinical needs within healthcare systems.
- Conduct field observations and healthcare need assessments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions.
- Participate in the Biodesign innovation process.
- Develop and validate medical technology concepts.
- Create intellectual property with commercialization potential.
- Build sustainable business models for healthcare innovations.
- Engage with clinicians, engineers, researchers, and industry experts.
- Contribute to the development of MedTech startups.
