Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Pharmacology Portfolio Leadership

    • Lead multiple First-in-Human (FiH) and Clinical Pharmacology studies simultaneously.
    • Provide medical, scientific, and operational leadership throughout study execution.
    • Contribute expert input to Study Concept Sheets, clinical protocols, Informed Consent Forms, Statistical Analysis Plans, and TLF shells.
    • Oversee medical monitoring, participant safety, safety reviews, medical coding, and safety reporting.
    • Support Site Initiation Visits and ongoing clinical oversight.
    • Lead the preparation of Clinical Study Reports (CSRs).
    • Contribute to scientific publications, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and technical summaries.
  • Clinical Pharmacology Strategy & Collaboration

    • Provide strategic Clinical Pharmacology guidance to optimize study design.
    • Collaborate with Translational Medicine Experts (TMEs) on compound strategy and development plans.
    • Partner with cross-functional Clinical Pharmacology Trial Teams and external CROs.
    • Support process improvements and capability-building initiatives.
    • Strengthen collaboration across research, clinical development, and external partners.
    • Deliver high-quality scientific data supporting regulatory submissions and development milestones.

Educational Requirements for the Translational Medicine Job:

  • MD degree in a relevant medical specialty.
  • PhD, post-doctoral training, board certification, or significant Clinical Pharmacology research experience is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in First-in-Human (FiH) and Clinical Pharmacology studies.
  • Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical companies, CROs, or academic medical centers is desirable.
  • Experience in Translational Medicine therapeutic areas is an added advantage.
  • Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

Skills Required:

  • Strong expertise in Clinical Pharmacology and Translational Medicine.
  • Experience in First-in-Human (FiH) clinical trials.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial design and execution.
  • Medical monitoring and participant safety management.
  • Regulatory submission experience.
  • Scientific and medical writing skills.
  • Clinical Study Report (CSR) preparation.
  • Strong understanding of GCP and regulatory requirements.
  • Cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with CROs, investigators, and global project teams.
  • Strategic thinking and scientific problem-solving abilities.
