Key Responsibilities
- Dispenses accurate prescriptions and fits spectacles, contact lenses, and other optical aids
- Perform refraction and diagnosis to meet customers needs
- Give advice to patients on lens types, frames, and styling
- Fit contact lenses and provide guidance on the care and use of low vision aids
- Manage inventory of lenses and optical products
- Provide qualitative and quantitative reports on sales, stock, and customer feedback
- Ensure the quality of eye measurements and audit dispensing techniques
- Act as the escalation point for Opticians requiring higher consultation
Required Skills & Competencies
- Welcome the customer appropriately
- Talk about Vision Express and available products and services
- Tell the customer about the Vx-6 step Eye test, which can be undergone free of cost
- Advise customer on what suits and benefits them based on their need
- Ensure timely delivery and prompt after-sales service
- Ensure back-end processes happen as per schedule
- Escalate unsorted issues or disputes to SM if required
