Job Description:
This Paediatrician Job at Koshys Hospital is a full-time position focused on comprehensive healthcare for infants, children and adolescents, alongside neonatal and NICU management. The selected professional will diagnose and treat pediatric conditions, manage newborn and critically ill neonatal patients, handle emergencies and perform required procedures. The role also involves developmental assessments, immunisations, parent counselling, multidisciplinary collaboration and compliance with hospital protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat medical conditions in infants, children, and adolescents
- Provide specialised care for newborns, including premature and critically ill infants
- Manage NICU patients and neonatal emergencies
- Conduct routine pediatric consultations, immunisations, and developmental assessments
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatric specialists, and nursing teams for multidisciplinary care
- Perform neonatal and pediatric procedures as required
- Counsel parents regarding child health, nutrition, vaccinations, and newborn care
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards and hospital protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
Eligibility Criteria for this Paediatrician Job:
- MBBS with valid KMC/NMC Registration
- MD/DNB Paediatrics (Mandatory)
- DM/Fellowship in Neonatology preferred
- Minimum 5 Years of Pediatric/Neonatal Experience
- Strong clinical, communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
- Experience in managing NICU and pediatric emergency cases
