Job Description:

This Medical Writing Job at ICON is for a PK Medical Writer within the Medical Writing department. The selected professional will support the development of Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics documents, including population PK/PD data transfer plans, analysis plans and reports. The position also involves preparing scientific documents, reviewing statistical outputs, coordinating document reviews and ensuring that deliverables meet relevant regulatory requirements and client procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop clear and concise clinical and scientific documents.
  • Prepare study reports, protocols and investigator brochures.
  • Support Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics documentation.
  • Develop population PK/PD data transfer plans.
  • Contribute to PK/PD analysis plans and reports.
  • Drive the document preparation and review process.
  • Review relevant primary statistical outputs.
  • Draft and distribute documents for stakeholder review.
  • Incorporate reviewer comments into final documents.
  • Provide scientific and medical writing consultation to project teams.
  • Ensure documents are inspection-ready and compliant.
  • Maintain central planning for population PK/PD writing deliverables.
  • Coordinate quality-control activities and timelines.

Eligibility Criteria for this Medical Writing Job:

  • Candidates applying for this Medical Writing Job should possess:

    • An advanced degree in  Medicine or a related field
    • At least 3–5 years of medical-writing experience
    • Relevant experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO industry
    • Ability to interpret complex clinical trial data and scientific research
    • Understanding of regulatory requirements for clinical documentation
    • Experience managing multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
