The Medical Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Karnataka, India, responsible for providing primary medical care to employees and supporting occupational health initiatives at the plant or site. Daily tasks include conducting consultations, diagnosing and treating common medical conditions, managing emergencies, and coordinating referrals to external healthcare providers as needed. The role involves monitoring employee health, maintaining medical records, overseeing workplace health and hygiene standards, and supporting preventive health programs such as vaccinations and health check-ups. The Medical Officer will collaborate with management and safety teams to promote health awareness, support compliance with health and safety regulations, and provide guidance on fitness for duty and return-to-work evaluations.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualification: MBBS or equivalent recognized medical degree with valid registration in India.
- Experience: industrial or occupational health experience preferred.
