Alkem Laboratories Careers: Qualifications

  • MBBS with MD (Pharmacology) – Mandatory
  • 1–4 years of experience in medico-marketing or medical affairs
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, SOPs, and compliance standards
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Role Overview

The Medical Advisor/Senior Medical Advisor is responsible for ensuring the scientific, technical, and ethical integrity of medical activities related to assigned therapy areas. The role supports brand strategy, medical education, stakeholder engagement, and internal capability building while ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical and scientific support to assigned product portfolios
  • Develop, review, and approve promotional, training, and CME materials
  • Support marketing and brand teams with medical insights and strategy inputs
  • Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) through CMEs, advisory boards, and scientific meetings
  • Deliver medical training to sales teams for ongoing, pre-launch, and launch activities
  • Provide accurate and balanced medical information to internal teams and HCPs
  • Support clinical research initiatives, protocol reviews, and medical studies
  • Assist regulatory teams with labeling and documentation reviews
  • Support pharmacovigilance activities, including adverse event reporting
