Job Description:
Max Healthcare is hiring a Manager – Medical Quality responsible for overseeing hospital quality processes, accreditation compliance, audits, and clinical governance. The role requires strong coordination with clinical departments, infection control teams, and medical councils to ensure adherence to standards and continuous quality improvement. Qualifications Required:
- BDS/MBBS with minimum Post Graduate Qualifications in Hospital Management
OR - Equivalent experience in Quality & Audit Role BDS/BDS
- Preferably with PG Diploma in Hospital Management
- 8 to 10 years in a well-established super specialty hospital
Key Responsibilities:
Patient/Customer Care
- To comply with the quality process & policies of the respective area
- To demonstrate effective application of technical & professional knowledge
Process Orientation/Documentation
- Coordination of Medical Councils: Infection Control, Medical Audit, Emergency Preparedness, and Operation Room Users etc
- Ensure meeting calendars are made
- Review Minutes of Councils meetings
- Identify gaps/help items
- Provide feedback to operations/clinical departments
Accreditations
- NABH & JCI / any other internal external audits
- Support the planning and implementation of all requirements of accreditation
Audits & QI Projects
- Carry out routine audits of clinical areas/departments
- Provide feedback to departments
- Support and implement QI projects
- Closure of Non conformities
- Support Legal Department in the management of serious untoward incidents, complaints, issues of poor clinical performance and to promote patient safety
