About the Role
The assistant lecturer will be responsible for delivering high-quality academic instruction and overseeing academic activities for allied health students. The role involves curriculum delivery, student mentoring, academic planning, and coordination of theoretical, practical, and clinical training components in alignment with institutional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Take complete ownership of assigned course(s) and curriculum delivery
- Design and deliver engaging lectures aligned with the prescribed syllabus
- Ensure structured and timely completion of the academic curriculum
- Conduct theory classes, internal assessments, lab sessions, clinical postings, and student projects
- Encourage active student participation and continuous academic engagement
- Monitor, evaluate, and mentor students’ academic performance
- Provide timely feedback and academic guidance to students
- Stay updated with industry trends and integrate relevant advancements into teaching
- Develop teaching materials such as presentations, assignments, handouts, question banks, and assessment papers
- Collaborate with faculty members to resolve academic challenges and enhance learning outcomes
