Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Health Informatics, Population Studies, Health Management, Public Health
- Ph D in public health, maternal newborn child health, or nursing is desirable
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in healthcare within international or national public health organizations or academic institutes
- Strong experience in research, data analysis, and scientific writing
- Publications in international peer-reviewed journals are essential
- Prior experience in the nursing and midwifery ecosystem is desirable

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews of published and unpublished documents related to HRH, including academic articles and policy documents.
- Draft research protocols, formulate research questions, select methodologies, and develop research tools under supervision.
- Collaborate with program staff and external evaluators in public health and human resources for health.
- Compile and maintain repositories of relevant research studies and literature.
- Lead the development and implementation of research and learning agendas for assigned projects.
- Assist in implementing Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) plans and Management Information Systems (MIS)
- Conduct and supervise quantitative and qualitative data collection to ensure high data quality.
- Document project results, success stories, scientific manuscripts, and reports
- Support abstract writing and submission to scientific conferences and meetings.
- Collaborate with policymakers and healthcare professionals to ensure research relevance.
- Manage research protocols, regulatory binders, and audit readiness
- Implement data quality assurance mechanisms through field visits and MEL support
- Ensure ethical standards and compliance with ethics committee guidelines
