Job Description
As a Medical Expert, you are responsible for developing and executing a robust medical strategy by leveraging patient and customer-generated insights. In this medical job, you will provide in-depth expertise for the prioritised disease areas and co-create solutions with ecosystem partners, including HCPs and scientific societies, to serve patients in alignment with cluster and affiliate disease area strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: MBBS/MD or advanced medical degree
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
- Language: Fluency in English (spoken and written); regional language proficiency is an asset
- Strategy & Leadership: Demonstrated leadership in shaping and executing medical strategy
- Technical Skills: Proven experience in KOL engagement, RWE/clinical research, and cross-functional collaboration
- Market Knowledge: Knowledge of the Indian regulatory, policy, and healthcare landscape at national and regional levels
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Value Creation
- Support the development and execution of patient-focused medical strategies that maximize the value proposition of prioritised disease areas.
- Deliver tangible medical value to the healthcare ecosystem and ensure early patient access to innovative medicines and solutions.
- Synthesize and integrate insights to deliver medical inputs into relevant brand and cluster strategies.
- Participate in launch squads and lifecycle management in collaboration with appropriate cross-functional teams.
- Support strategic planning and ensure the sustainability of product launches through compliance.
2. Scientific Leadership & Evidence
- Act as the primary custodian of prioritised disease area data, ensuring credible scientific communication and dissemination.
- Lead and develop evidence generation projects, including clinical protocols, Real-World Evidence (RWE), registries, and digital initiatives.
- Determine the scientific and medical appropriateness of patient access materials and promotional deliverables.
3. Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead and support relationships with the external healthcare community, including top external experts and societies for scientific exchange.
- Maintain a strong field presence to foster collaboration and strengthen external understanding of unmet needs.
- Respond to unsolicited queries from HCPs in accordance with local laws and SOPs.
- Design medical activities and solutions, such as clinical ecosystem initiatives, CMEs, Advisory Boards, and digital solutions.
4. Operations & Compliance
- Ensure all medical activities are conducted in full compliance with all laws, regulations, and company SOPs.
- Ensure product, Disease Area, and pipeline-specific medical training is provided where appropriate.
- Support clinical operations regarding investigator-initiated studies, study materials, and site mapping.

- Expertise: Deep Disease Area expertise with the ability to act as a generalist for any medical need within the scope of work.
