Job Description:
Mass General Brigham is hiring an Emergency Medicine Physician for Salem Hospital. This medicine physician job offers the opportunity to practice high-quality emergency medicine in a fast-paced and collaborative healthcare setting. Salem Hospital is seeking a full-time board-certified or board-eligible physician to join its Emergency Department team. The physician will provide comprehensive emergency medical care while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care. The salary for this position is $355,000 annually based on a full-time schedule. Compensation may vary depending on experience, education, internal equity, certifications, and other relevant factors.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM).
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Strong commitment to high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients across the lifespan in a high-acuity and fast-paced environment.
- Deliver patient-centered care in collaboration with advanced practice providers, nurses, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of urgent and emergent medical conditions.
- Perform emergency procedures consistent with clinical training and scope of practice.

- Contribute to departmental operations including throughput optimization and development of evidence-based protocols.
- Engage in teaching and mentoring activities for medical students and residents when applicable.
