The Optometrist role at Reliance Retail Vision Express involves dispensing and fitting accurate prescriptions, performing refraction and diagnosis, and providing expert customer consultation. This Optometrist job requires delivering high standards of eye care, ensuring quality measurements, and guiding customers on optical products and services. The role also serves as a senior consultation point for complex cases escalated by Opticians.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense accurate prescriptions and fit spectacles, contact lenses, and optical aids
- Perform refraction, diagnosis, and detailed customer consultations
- Advise patients on lens types, frames, styling, contact lens care, and low vision aids
- Manage inventory of lenses and optical products and provide order inputs
- Prepare qualitative and quantitative reports on sales, stock, and customer feedback
- Ensure quality control of eye measurements and dispensing techniques
- Audit fitments and dispensing methods of Opticians and maintain reports
- Act as the escalation point for complex consultation cases
- Ensure timely delivery and prompt after-sales service
- Escalate unresolved issues or disputes to the Store Manager when required
