Job Description:

The Orthopaedic Research Fellow position is a full-time orthopaedic job under the Clinician category within SOM-Orthopaedic Surgery-Clinical Research_JM. This MD Job focuses on conducting clinical research and/or performing clinical duties. Candidates must provide complete employment history, education details, and licenses/certifications/registrations. Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: Must have M.D., M.B.B.S., D.O, OR be a candidate for graduation within the next eighteen (18) months. Proof of matriculation must be provided prior to the hire date. No other equivalents.

  • Presents in-service training to staff as needed.
  • Lectures to medical students and residents.
  • Prepares and submits grant applications and obtains institutional approvals for research studies.
  • Designs plan for developing advanced clinical skills in one or more areas of practice.
  • Prepares for state licensing.
