The Department of Uro-Oncology at TMC provides evidence-based, protocol-driven care for all urological cancers. Key features include:
- Largest superficial bladder cancer surveillance program in the region
- Advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, including biplanar US scanners for prostate biopsy and urodynamics systems
- Support from Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, Radiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, ICU, and other surgical specialties
- State-of-the-art operation theatres, Surgical ICU, HDU, and wards
- Positive pressure laminar air flow theatres with HEPA filters, vessel sealing devices, intraoperative ultrasonography, and frozen section biopsy facilities
- Robotic (da Vinci) and laparoscopic surgery programs have been running weekly since 2017
The department is staffed with 4 full-time consultants, 4 dedicated uro-oncology fellows, 2 rotating surgical fellows, a urology technician, and a clinical research coordinator, ensuring close supervision and mentoring.
Role Overview – Clinical Associate
The clinical associate will receive hands-on training in operative and clinical urology, including robotics and laparoscopy. The position provides exposure to inpatient and outpatient care, and active participation in theater procedures, developing skills to make independent clinical decisions.

- Discuss contemporary publications and organize multidisciplinary meetings
- Present findings in national and international conferences
Research Opportunities
