The Associate – Clinical Data Management (CDS) role at Lilly is central to clinical trial data execution, covering database design, data validation, acquisition, and delivery. Clinical Data Management Job Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Strategy, Planning, and Delivery
- Execute Lilly’s business requirements for vendors to deliver clinical trial data.
- Ensure data management deliverables meet scope, time, and cost objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end process of clinical data management from setup to dataset delivery.
- Oversee data flow across multiple vendors and niche data sources.
- Contribute to essential documents like the Data Management Plan and Project Plan.
- Participate in regulatory submissions, inspections, and responses.
- Manage archiving and decommissioning of study-related documents.
Project Management
- Ensure database design, data validation, and central coding align with protocol goals.
- Monitor key study metrics and execution timelines.
- Integrate diverse data sources for informed clinical decisions.
- Maintain compliance with global standards (FDA, ICH, MHRA, GCP).
Enterprise Leadership
- Lead continuous process improvements in clinical data management.
- Represent Data & Analytics in cross-functional initiatives.
- Encourage collaboration and shared learning within the Research & Development network.
