Medical Advisor Job Qualifications
- MBBS or MD from a recognised institution
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in Medical Affairs (preferred)
- Strong understanding of diabetes, obesity, and metabolic disorders
- Ability to interpret and communicate scientific data clearly
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven HCP/KOL engagement
- Strong analytical, planning, and execution capabilities
- High ethical standards and adherence to compliance norms
Role Overview
The regional medical advisor will act as the scientific bridge between Novo Nordisk and healthcare professionals. The role focuses on executing regional medical strategies, engaging key opinion leaders, generating clinical insights, and supporting cross-functional teams with evidence-based guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement regional medical plans aligned with the national strategy
- Build strong scientific relationships with KOLs, diabetologists, and HCPs
- Attend scientific meetings and gather real-world clinical insights
- Share actionable scientific feedback with cross-functional teams
- Provide medical and scientific support to brand and commercial teams
- Train field teams and HCPs through scientific education initiatives
- Ensure compliant, ethical, and science-driven engagement at all levels
- Support medical inputs for product positioning and market strategy
