The Position
As a Safety Surveillance Adviser, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining the product safety profile during development and post-marketing phases. Your key responsibilities include:
- Conducting systematic safety surveillance of Novo Nordisk (NN) products.
- Communicating drug safety issues to internal teams and health authorities (HAs).
- Leading the cross-functional safety committee to review ongoing safety data.
- Managing safety-related aspects of clinical trials and regulatory documentation.
- Preparing safety-related sections of DSURs, SUSAR reports, PSURs, and RMPs.
- Providing safety input to product development plans, clinical trial protocols, and investigator brochures.
- Responding to inquiries from health authorities and ethics committees.
Qualifications
- Masterโs in Medicine (MD) or MBBS preferred.
- Experience in Signal Management, Aggregate Management, and ICSR.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a quality-focused mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Adaptable, proactive, and a team player with cross-cultural awareness.
About the Department
Global Safety – Global Business Services (GS-GBS) was established in 2010 as a hub for safety case processing. The team manages case processing from various sources, including spontaneous, literature, solicited, and clinical trials. Key activities include medical review, safety report submission, ICSR quality control, signal detection, risk mitigation, and literature surveillance.
