Job Description:
The Associate Manager – Scientific Services is vital to developing and delivering high-quality, scientifically accurate, and engaging medical communications for pharmaceutical and medical device clients. This role ensures the scientific integrity of assigned projects, provides scientific input, and contributes to the Scientific Services team’s efficiency and growth.
Responsibilities:
Scientific Content Development:
- Develop diverse medical communication deliverables
- Ensure scientific accuracy and compliance with industry guidelines
- Critically evaluate and interpret scientific data
- Review and edit scientific content
- Maintain knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders
- Develop engagement plans for KOLs and societies
- Serve as the primary point of contact for KOL and society interactions
- Manage KOL databases and track engagement activities
Client Interaction:
- Participate in client meetings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Understand client needs and objectives
Project & Process Management:
- Contribute to project scoping, budgeting, and timelines
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Contribute to improving departmental processes
- Adhere to SOPs and quality control processes
Strategic Contribution:
- Contribute to new business proposals
- Identify opportunities to enhance department offerings
- Stay abreast of industry trends
Qualifications:
- Education: Medical Degree – MBBS / MD
- Additional Course in Certified Medical Publication Professional
- Strong scientific background and understanding of clinical research
Experience:
- 6-8 years of experience in medical communications or related field
- Proven experience developing medical communication materials
