Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal is an Institution of Eminence Deemed to be University. MAHE invites applications from eligible candidates for Faculty Positions at the Manipal Institute of Virology (MIV), a constituent unit of MAHE, Manipal. MIV is one of India’s premier virology research centers, with the capacity to diagnose infectious diseases with different viral etiologies. MIV provides state-of-the-art diagnostic facilities while supporting public health services in disease surveillance and outbreak response, contributing to global health security. It also conducts research in basic and applied virology, epidemiology, diagnosis, vaccines, and therapeutics. MIV is the NVBDCP Apex Referral Laboratory for Dengue, Japanese Encephalitis, and Chikungunya under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India programs. Role: Faculty Positions
Eligibility:
- MD in Clinical Microbiology with Senior Residency in Virology/Research Experience in Virology/Minimum of 2 Publications in Virology
- DM in Clinical Virology
- MSc in Virology or Medical Microbiology or Biotechnology with PhD in Virology
