Job Description
Primary Duties
- Support the development and execution of Country/Cluster Medical Brand Plans for assigned products.
- Establish and maintain strong scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), investigators, and stakeholders.
- Lead the design and implementation of high-impact scientific programs with external partners and internal medical teams.
- Provide expert scientific exchange and respond to medical inquiries effectively.
- Deliver training to internal teams, enhancing disease area and product knowledge.
- Stay updated on relevant medical and pharmaceutical guidelines, ensuring best practices in medical affairs.
Key Responsibilities
Medical Brand Plan Development (20%)
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop local medical strategies.
- Define and track key performance indicators to measure progress.
Scientific Exchange and KOL Engagement (25%)
- Identify and engage with KOLs, investigators, and stakeholders in the healthcare sector.
- Develop peer-to-peer scientific relationships and manage strategic scientific partnerships.
- Support medical field teams by providing credible, product-specific scientific expertise.
Scientific Program Implementation (25%)
- Partner with KOLs and investigators to advance shared scientific interests.
- Assist in the development of local medical initiatives and research programs.
- Support Takeda’s clinical research efforts, including evidence gap analysis and medical insights.
Medical Communication & Training (20%)
- Respond to scientific queries from healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
- Develop medical content and training materials for internal teams.
- Maintain updated knowledge in relevant disease areas and industry best practices.
Education & Experience Requirements
- MBBS/MD is preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Strong background in customer-facing medical roles.
- Experience in vaccines or related therapeutic areas is highly desirable.
