About the Department
Centralized Monitoring Unit (CMU) – Bangalore is a department within the Clinical Drug Development area. It consists of skilled medical professionals (Medical reviewers) and technical programmers (Functional programmers, statistical monitors). Medical reviewers are actively involved in Risk-based medical monitoring in collaboration with medical specialists from Denmark, focusing on ensuring patient safety, compliance with the protocol, and identifying potential outliers requiring medical attention and data cleaning. Functional Programmers develop operational visualizations in data visualization tools, and Statistical Monitors detect unusual data patterns and errors across trials.
The Position
Note: This is not a role within Pharmacovigilance
The Senior Medical Reviewer is responsible for conducting comprehensive medical reviews of clinical trial data across various therapy areas within the drug development portfolio. The role ensures the quality and consistency of medical data, emphasizing patient safety, protocol adherence, and compliance with regulations and SOPs. Key responsibilities include collaborating with study team members, providing updates on medical reviews, and maintaining trial integrity.
- Contribute to trial planning activities
- Clarify and resolve medical issues

Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Medicine or related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Clinical Drug Development
- 1-2 years of project management experience
- Proficiency in ICH guidelines and GCP principles
- Strong computer skills and medical terminology knowledge
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
