- Medical Doctor, Masters / PhD in Life sciences, and specialist degree.
- Has a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience. Experience in global, regional, or affiliate (back office and field) experience preferred.
- People management experience of at least 5 years (People management of first-line managers of at least 2 years is preferred).
- Additional education and experience in pharma business/marketing.

The primary role of this position is to be responsible for the overall performance of the RareD Medical Affairs Department including timely planning and proper execution of projects and deliverables. The Senior Manager is also responsible for executing the below deliverables at a managerial level,
- People Management: Function as a people manager for the RareD Medical Affairs department with overall responsibility for performance; set strategy and direction for Team Leads and a team of direct reports.
- Medical Affairs activities: Responsible for delivery of timely, accurate, and credible scientific medical guidance across medical affairs focus areas towards internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaboration across RareD Medical Affairs and other units in GBS.
